Throughout my time photographing weddings, I started to notice something — the way most coverage was offered felt a bit rigid, including my own. It was often all or nothing.
And while that full-day storytelling still holds a special place for me (and for many couples), I couldn’t shake the feeling that it wasn’t quite serving every couple in the way it should — especially couples who wanted more flexibility, or who simply didn’t need it all.
So I began imagining a different approach — one that could adapt to different budgets, different priorities, and different kinds of coverage.
What if you could just choose the parts of the day that really mattered to you? No pressure to book a full day. Just the moments that you truly want to be remembered.
This idea has been growing with me for a while — from the quiet magic of blending in as a guest in the evening with a compact camera, to creating unforgettable one-hour escapes where I take couples out into nature and create something beautiful, away from the noise of the day. I wanted to portion elements of the day into sections, in a way an A La Carte menu would, to allow the couple to choose what would be important to them.
The result? A photography menu built around your story and the parts you want captured — not the other way around.
You can still book me for full-day coverage (I still love telling the full story) but now you’ve got the freedom to tailor your experience. From the bridal prep, the the intimate vows, to relaxed group shots, an epic Escape Session, or even a discreet add-on later in the evening — it’s now all about what feels meaningful to you.
And if you want to make it tangible, you can add things like beautiful print boxes, handcrafted albums, wall art, or even a roll or two of 35mm film to give your images that timeless edge.
You can also add a same-day image projection at your reception (guaranteed to make people cry!) or a cinematic highlights film.
